Biography:

Carly is a former undergraduate research assistant and is currently serving with the City of Philadelphia for a year of national service as the Promise Zone Data and Evaluation Coordinator.

She was an honors Psychology major who minored in Human Development Family Studies. She was an orientation leader, leading discussions and initiating social networking for new students during New Student Orientation, and she interned with the Youth Service Bureau, mentoring adolescents who were in the juvenile justice system. Her research interests broadly include the social and societal factors that shape adolescent and young adult development, however, her current focus is on identity and parenting within the context of race.
