Biography:

Amy Nguyen is a senior majoring in Biobehavioral Health with a minor in Psychology. She is also a lab TA for Mammalian Anatomy and highly involved as a volunteer for the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon. She has hopes of pursuing her postgraduate education in Public Health, focusing on social epidemiology and the minority and immigrant population. Children have always been an age demographic that she has been interested in working with and hopes that extends to her postgraduate and doctoral work. As a future researcher, she hopes to explore the health disparities of adolescents in underprivileged settings and work towards improving their quality of life while still respecting their culture and lifestyle.
