Biography:

Daniel Proano is a senior Psychology and Spanish double major. He is currently studying discrimination in the workplace and is interested to see whether or not those with a foreign name or accent are put at a disadvantage when it comes to being selected for a job. Last semester, Daniel completed an internship while he was abroad in Spain. There he would visit a local school and teach Spanish adolescents how to speak English. He has joined the Context and Development lab in hopes of continuing to interact with adolescents and using the Spanish language.
