Biography:

Dulce first joined the Context and Development Lab in 2022 as an undergraduate research assistant. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from The Pennsylvania State University in 2023. Embracing her passion for research and academic pursuits, Dulce has returned to the Context and Development Lab serving as a Lab Manager. Her primary interests revolve around exploring the dynamics of ethnic-racial identity and investigating how social contextual factors shape socio-emotional, family relationships, and academic outcomes in youth. Additionally, she is interested in researching the socialization of youth in the Latinx community.
