Biography:

Hunter is a fourth-year graduate student in the Developmental Psychology Department at Penn State. She works both with Dr. Dawn Witherspoon in the CDL and Dr. Suzy Scherf in the Laboratory of Developmental Neuroscience. She received a B.S. in neuroscience from the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio and a M.S. in experimental psychology from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her research interests lay in the broad topic of improving the lives of autistic people through increasing accurate knowledge, debunking harmful myths and stereotypes and empowering autistic individuals.
