Biography:

Wei Wei, M.S. is a sixth-year graduate student in the Context and Development Lab. She received her master’s degree from Beijing Normal University in 2015. She is interested in parental involvement and its cultural differences. At Penn State, she works with Dr. Dawn Witherspoon and examines the effects of contextual support (e.g., neighborhood context and parental involvement) on students’ achievement and social development in diverse family backgrounds.
